STEM For Early Learners In Eastern Oregon

Sponsored by the Malheur Education Service District, in April 2017, David Heil of the Foundation for Family Science & Engineering led a day-long STEM For Early Learners workshop for 50 teachers at Eastern Oregon’s Vale Elementary School. This program covered an Introduction to Early STEM Learning, Early Educator Strategies, Early STEM Settings & Resources, and Take Home Activities.  This was the second year in a row the Foundation for Family Science & Engineering partnered with Malheur ESD to deliver this training.
